Wild Harvested Yellow Dock Root, Rumex crispus, Dried

I wild harvest Yellow dock roots in Eastern Washington each fall, as the leaves die back and the energy of the plant is in the root. I hand dig in large stands, far away from roads and agricultural fields, and disperse seeds. I then wash the roots, chop and dry the same day as harvest.

Yellow dock is known to be beneficial for the digestive tract, is high in iron and is used to treat constipation and sluggish digestion.
