Start seeds in early spring or cold condition in the refrigerator 2 weeks before sowing. Cover seeds with twice their thickness and keep well watered. Moist and rich soils will produce larger plants and more flowers.

Astringent, anti-inflammatory, mucilaginous, pain relieving, anti-viral. Great for sore throats and healing external wounds.
