Wild harvested Dried Red Root , Ceanothus velutinus
I wild harvest Red Root in Eastern Washington, each fall after the plant has flowered and set seed, and the energy is returning to the root. I hand dig small quantities in large patches. Then wash, process the root bark and dry the same day as harvest.
Red Root bark is commonly used to resolve damp stagnation, clears mucus, and it cleans and improves the flow of blood and lymph.
