I personally hand harvest and grow this Lavandula ssp. in my small-scale permaculture system, without the use of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides or synthetic fertilizers. I harvest Lavender each summer right has flowers start to open. I harvest the topmost leaves and full flowering inflorescences, then distill right after harvest.
