Easy to grow. Start seeds in green house in early spring or outside spring and summer. Cover seeds with twice their thickness and keep moist. Start in flats or pots and up-pot until robust and ready to be put in there forever home. Can be easily grown in pots, if container gardening. Plant in a sunny well-draining location. Harvest Roots after the 4th or 5th year. Plants can live for 10-20 years. Plants started earlier can bloom the first year. Draught tolerant.

Echinacea has many medicinal uses in both the root and aerial foliage. Especially the fresh pressed juices.
