Surface sow spring through fall. Tamp down firmly and keep well-watered. Prefers full sun and can grow in all types of soil. Drought tolerant, deer resistant and pollinator friendly. Rhizome based spread once established.
Highly aromatic mugwort, native to the NW coast, growing along coastal bluffs and now using the microclimate of logged areas in the mountains as a new habitat. Medicinally used the same as Common Mugwort, as a digestive bitter, emmenagogue and ceremonial sage.
